Feels like Spring!

Gibson and I enjoyed the beautiful "un-fall-like" weather this afternoon. It was absolutely gorgeous outside, although a little overcast. I think the high was 75 and the low was 65... So we pulled out Gibson's first pair of shorts for the season and went to the front yard to play.

Gibson enjoyed the grass on his feet, and played with the leaves that were scattered about the yard. The next time we see weather like this it may warrant a trip to the park or zoo. I hope we keep getting some warm weather like this, but as it always happens in Oklahoma... there is a cold front coming in tonight. Maybe next week we will have a day or two of good weather again!

Gibson got Mickey Mouse golf clubs for Christmas this year, and he loves when Daddy tries to teach him how to swing. Gerod says he cant wait for summer so he can take Gibson out to the range. We will see how that goes, but boy would Gibson make a handsome little golfer! ;)

I know you have all been anxiously waiting...

Finally another belly pic. Sorry my face isn't a part of the picture, I was terribly sick yesterday and didn't want everyone seeing my bad hair/no makeup face. Anyway... I thought I was beginning to look bigger than I did at my last picture at just over 15 weeks... but for some reason I didn't look all that big last night, at least in my opinion. I cant wait to be showing just a little more! I am sure I will be HUGE before I know it.

Here is 18 weeks 3 days... with our second little man... Chad Austin!

Mr. Bubble

I was at the store the other day and couldn't resist buying a big bottle of Mr. Bubble for Gibson's bath time. The smell takes me back to my childhood in an instant...
Later that night for Gibson's bath I got out the bubble bath and poured it in... There were mountains of bubbles, and Gibson was completely amazed by the sight. He has had a bubble bath before but never so many bubbles. It was a completely new experience for him! I think he was just a tad bit excited!!!
Trying to figure out the whole "bubble" thing...

For some reason he thought it would be a good idea to taste the bubbles... but he didn't think they were very good. Needless to say, he continued trying them... maybe he thought the taste would change?!?

All clean... A BIG thanks to Mr.Bubble for a FUN-FILLED bath time with my little man. It was too much fun watching him discover bubbles I guess for the first real time. I cant wait for another bubble bath night!

Gibson will be getting...

A little BROTHER! Yep, you read correctly! We are again pregnant with a little boy. I have to admit at first I was somewhat upset that I wouldnt be decorating everything pink, but I am beyond excited to be getting another precious little man! I will be completely outnumbered in the house now with three boys!
His name will be Chad Austin... this time we are using my initials, and maybe this tradition will carry on as well!
The averaging of the size of Mr. Chad puts my due date closer to July 19th.... but they are keeping it July 25th anyway! Imagine that, me having a big baby in there? Never would have thought since Gibson was only 8lbs 11oz when he was born. :)
I promise I will get Gerod to take a belly picture of me sometime soon so I can post it!

My love for purses!!!

My friend Sarah recently tagged me in a FUN purse game...

The rules are:
*Post a picture of whatever bag you are carrying as of late. You CANNOT sneak into your closet and pull out some cute little things - we want to know the purse you last carried. No cheating! *List how much it cost - this is not to judge but for entertainment only. If there is a fabulous story to go along with your fabulous purse, let us hear it!
*Show all the contents currently in the purse
*Tag some lucky ladies to participate and then link back to this post.

This is my current purse... It's a Kathy Van Zeeland, that I purchased from Ross no less for only $30!! The Kathy Van Zeeland price tag on it was around $95. :) What a steal! I love it!!!

I recently cleaned my purse out so I got lucky that it wasnt full of reciepts and such from long ago. hahaha.

Happy Birthday!

My Mom turns... Oh... We wont reveal her age, anyway its her birthday today! Happy Birthday Mom! I hope you had a great one!

"Toto we're not in Kansas anymore..."

Quoting Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz... because it was the only movie to pop in my head about tornado's.
We had our fair share of some really bad weather last night. Although we weathered the storm well, and had no damage, there was a tornado that touched down extremely close to our home. It knocked down a couple signs, as well as some electric poles... and completely demolished a Chuck-E Cheese. From my understanding from the news no one was hurt/killed in this part of the tornado, but it skipped a bit and touched down two more times before going away, and in the process completely tore apart some massive homes in Edmond which is just NE of where we live in Northern OKC.
Unfortunately it is being reported that 8 people lost their lives last night and I think most of that was due to the destruction of another tornado that touched down in Lone Grove and moved up through Ardmore... neither of which are close to us at all. This tornado was being reported last night to be over a half mile wide.

All we can do is pray for the families that lost possessions, homes, and friends and family in this natural disaster.

I hope that this is not leading us into a terrible tornado season. We have been very lucky since moving here over 4 years ago... I pray that it will only stay the same!

Baby News!

Nothing major... we just had another normal appt this morning. The doc checked the heartbeat which was 138bpm this time. I dont think the baby can make up its mind on whether to be active or lazy! :)
Gibson hated the fact that the doctor was using the doppler on my belly. I think he thought the doctor was actually hurting me. Gerod was holding him, and he just kept screaming and crying "Momma, Momma, Momma" over and over again. Once the doctor turned the doppler off he immediately stopped the dramatic explosion of tears and cries. Good thing I have my little protector around me at all times. Needless to say I told Gerod that Gibson will have to go over to a friends house during the gender ultrasound because its a much longer appt with lots of belly torture... ;)
Next appt isnt till March 4th, but our gender scan is still on for February 24th! :) Yeah for finding out what "Baby B" is!!!

"I'm so excited... And I just cant hide it!"

Every time I hear this song it takes me back to the good ole' days of watching Saved By the Bell after school. I distinctly remember this particular episode when Jesse starts taking pills to stay awake to study for SAT's and is simultaneously acting in a workout video with Lisa, and Kelley. Anywho... thats completely off topic, but I had to share my blast from the past moment!

I am so excited about my business! I have seen what it can do in my life, and in others, and I am ready to share it with the world. If you haven't heard about Premier Designs, and are at all intrigued to learn more about this amazing company that I already hold so dear to my heart, please let me know. I want to share the love and blessing that this company and women have shared with me! I know I have a future with this company for a long time, and my friends and family that I have quickly acquired through Premier have helped to make me into a better person all around.

I just want everyone to be as excited as I am about this wonderful opportunity that God has laid down for me!
